Functional, intuitive, beautiful.
As of November 28th, 2012,
VST has released
MoJoToGo Pro for the iPad. Of all the excellent software tools VST has offered to design and calculate brews, I believe this one will be the most useful to the most users, and offer the best value. Along with my standard refractometer, I am enjoying more and better use from MoJoToGo Pro than any of the other software. It is on sale until December 21st, 2012 (

This app offers the brew design functionality of ExtractMoJo with the added ability to press, drag, and drop the design point on the graph. It includes coffee, espresso, and cupping modes, and easily toggles between drip and infusion. It greatly expands on all of the current features of the iPhone/iPod app, is very user friendly, and can go anywhere an iPad can.
Dialing in a coffee on a Baratza Maestro.
Recording and sharing recipe details is very simple, as well as sharing data with the CoffeeMetrix open data tacking project (

Having all of this functionality in a convenient, easy to use, very portable package is an extremely useful companion for designing, sharing, and keeping track of recipes when dialing in coffees, grinders, and brewing methods.
